Hello!

I am a big fan of Pedro Andrade, an anchor of Fusion Live TV, who was born in Rio de Janeiro and has a real carioca style, even though he lives in United States for a long time. He is very smart and a multi-talented journalist, model, lecturer, speaker, writer, television host and not to mention a very handsome and charming man! In Brazil, he is part of a team of ‘wild’ and very respectful journalists in a TV show called “Manhattan Connection”, exhibited weekly on Globo News Channel. In the program he comments about culture, art, movies and gives tips of some U.S. cities, specially New York.

As he lived for a long time in NY (now he is living in Miami, if I am not mistaken) and knows each spot of the Big Apple, such as great restaurants, he transformed his local experience in a travel guide that became a best-seller in brazilian market. He also has a blog and there you can know more about him and his projects >>> www.pedroandradetv.com

In the video, filmed before the World Cup, you can see a plenty of his favorite spots in Rio, some very nice tips that I also recommend you to do. “But, Pedro, I prefer my breakfast tips”!!! – see my choices of the best places to have your breakfast here!

Watch the video* (click on Pedro’s photo below) and see what a perfect day in Rio look like! Thanks for the great tips, Pedro!

Video of Copacabana Beach from its Fort!

The video was done from the Fort Copacabana, where I had a great afternoon at Confeitaria Colombo, a place I recommend to eat and also to appreciate the view! 😉

Enjoy it!

Rio 360 Panoramic View

The incredible view of this 360 photo was made from the top of Corcovado Mountain, where is the Christ the Redeemer Statue.

This amazing job (click on the picture below to see*) was done by Ayrton in order to be part of the Olympic Games bid material and here is his website where you can check other 360 photos: http://ayrton.com/360/

* The author of the pic above  is Xavier Donat. I posted it only to illustrate and make a link to Ayton’s work.

Soundtrack: Chega de Saudade, by Tom Jobim.

TGIF! Rio, the place to fall in love…

TGIF! Let’s have a little fun!

Love this video… soooo funny!

What makes me laugh more in this “funk” music? This part: all the millions of brazilians come and make me say “gostoso”. LOL!!! When someone is a mix of beautiful, charming and sexy, we call that person “gostoso”. But pay attention to say it right… gostosO is used for man, and gostosA for woman 😉 BTW, it sounds rude and discourteous to say it to a woman in most cases.

Have a nice weekend 🙂

Christ will be photographed by Google Street View!

After Grand Canyon in the U.S. and a mountain in Japan, now is Rio’s turn! The Christ the Redeemer Statue will be photographed by the Google Street View. Isn’t it amazing?!

Accordingly to O Globo journal, the Google’s staff has begun to capture panoramic images of the monument in Rio atop the Corcovado mountain. The images are made by an equipment called “Trekker” with 15 cameras, as you can see in the video below made in the Grand Canyon.

While the images are being produced, see the ones already done in Rio!

This is only the beginning!

Hey guys!

Take a deep breath… This video is one of my favorites about Rio and shows different areas of the city, like a puzzle of beautiful landscapes.
The video was set with the goal of participating in the bid to host the Olympic Games. As you know, it worked perfectly! So, what are you waiting to program your trip?!

Did you like it?!
